In the heart of Napa Valley, Maya Dalla Valle carries forward a legendary winemaking tradition while shaping its future with innovation and precision. As the daughter of Dalla Valle Vineyards’ founders, her connection to the land runs deep—born the same year the family planted their iconic Maya’s Vineyard, her destiny in wine was written in the vines.
Maya’s journey has taken her across the world, studying viticulture and enology at top institutions and honing her craft at renowned estates such as Château Latour, Ornellaia, and Pétrus. In 2017, she returned home to Napa, joining the family estate, and by 2021, she took the helm as winemaker, working alongside her mother, Naoko, to uphold and evolve the legacy of Dalla Valle’s world-class wines.
Her vision extends beyond Napa—through DVO, a collaboration with Italy’s Ornellaia, Maya is crafting wines that blend California’s boldness with Old World finesse, proving that heritage and innovation can exist in perfect harmony.
