JCB LIVE Wine Styles: Drink Pink Day- Heirloom Tomato Gazpacho, Cupids Cocktail & Watermelon Bellini

We celebrate National Pink Day by doing what else but, drinking pink! Join Chef Rafael Molina and Jean-Charles Boisset as they make a tomato gazpacho and pair it with delicious cocktails made with Charles de Fere Brut Rosé and Jean-Louis Rosé.
Heirloom Tomato Gazpacho
Ingredients:
5 Heirloom tomatoes
1 red onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
¼ Cup lemon juice
1 Cup cilantro, chopped
1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped
1 ½ Cups cucumber, peeled and chopped
Directions:
Blend all ingredients on high for 30 seconds
Cover a large container with cheesecloth
Pour mixture into cheesecloth
Let drain over night
Serve chilled
Cupids Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients:
• 1 strawberry
• 3/4 ounce lemon juice (fresh)
• 1/4 ounce simple syrup
• 1 ounce elderflower liqueur (St. Germain)
• 2 ounces JCB vodka
• 3 ounces Charles de Fere Sparkling Brut Rosé
• Garnish: strawberry
Directions:
1. Gather the ingredients.
2. Muddle the strawberry, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.
3. Add ice, the St. Germain and vodka, and shake well.
4. Strain over fresh ice in a Passion glass.
5. Top with the sparkling wine and garnish with a strawberry.
6. Serve and enjoy!
Watermelon Bellini Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lime
2 to 3 Tbsp. coarse sugar
3 cups frozen seedless watermelon
1 Cup Jean-Louis Sparkling Rose, chilled
2 tablespoons sugar
Pinch of salt
Additional sparkling wine
Garnish: watermelon wedges
Directions:
Cut lime in half. Cut 1 half into wedges, and rub on rims of 8 (6-oz.) cocktail glasses; dip rims in coarse sugar to coat. Process frozen watermelon, 1 cup chilled sparkling wine, sugar, salt, and juice from remaining lime half in a blender until smooth. Pour mixture into prepared glasses; top off with additional sparkling wine. Garnish, if desired. Serve immediately
